Stepped on the scale this morning and had gained back the same three pounds I’d lost last week.
It’s my own fault. On Tuesday I grabbed a handful of candy at work, and that started the ball rolling. On Wednesday I went to a buffet with a buddy and had three plates of food. Thursday night I stopped at the Circle K and grabbed several Slim Jims, and a bag of Doritos (family size, of course). Then yesterday (after a job interview) I had to stop at Denny’s for some chicken strips and a piece of French silk pie. On the way home from the Denny’s I hit the Circle K again and did the whole Slim Jim/Doritos bit… Adding a huge Snickers bar this time, too.
Now that I say all that, I guess it’s a wonder I only gained three pounds!
